Castello berths at the Marina opposite Tesco Express on Poole Quay
(BH15 1HU).

Please wait to the left of the Marina entrance on the pavement, leaving enough space for the Marina staff and contractors to access the ramp easily. Our Skipper or Crew will meet you and escort you through the Marina and will guide you to the boat.

Here are a few suggestions of where to park:

There are a couple of car parks close to Poole Quay. One being the car park located behind The Quay Hotel. The hotel is now closed but the car park is still operational. Payment can be made via the Evology parking app.

Are there any restrictions on how much luggage I can bring?

You may bring as many items of baggage as you require - all of cabin size proportions under 15kg. We would appreciate your help and understanding by bringing smaller cases due to the manual handling involved in transferring luggage between the boat and the castle. Your luggage will be taken to the castle and placed outside of the lift on the first floor on your arrival.

I am staying at the castle, do I need to pay for the boat crossings?

No, only day guests need to pay for boat crossings. Residential guests and members do not need to pay as it's included in your stay / membership. Please note Partners and member guests are charged £8.50 Adult £4.50 Child.

Can I book in advance to have lunch or afternoon tea?

Yes, please reply to the booking confirmation email and let us know if you have any food intolerances / allergies. We serve lunch from 12.30 - 14.30 daily and afternoon tea from

Dining at Brownsea

While you are at the Brownsea Castle, the following dining options are available:

Lunch: Served between 12:30 and 14:30.

Elegant Afternoon Tea (requires 48 hours notice): Served between 14:00 and 16:30 daily. Indulge in sandwiches, scones, and cakes. If you haven't already booked, please visit here. Please let us know if you have any allergies or food intolerances in the comments section of the booking.
