How do I book my slot?

Reserve your space by clicking the 'Book Online' button on this page. Once booked you will need to pay at The Manor Bar Reception prior to your activity start time place (same day is fine). You will be given a wristband with your receipt, please bring both with you to the session to give to the instructor.

Where does it take place?

The archery takes place behind the swimming pool within the multi purpose court arena. Odney maps are available at The Manor Reception.

How long does the session last?

Approximately 90 minutes.

How many people can take part during the session?

There is a maximum of 8 people per session, unless you are a corporate event by prior arrangement.

Is there a minimum age for children?

We do not normally take children under 10 years of age, as we have found that they do not have the required strength or physical size to be able to shoot a bow and get the most out of archery. Young children will be assessed and parents advised if we feel that the session is not in their interest until they are older.

Do I need to remain with my child during the lessons?

Yes, you will be expected to remain with them at all times for the duration of the lessons if they are under 16.

What clothing should I wear?

Suitable clothing must be worn in accordance with the weather. Close fitting clothing will help to prevent the bowstring from catching you – e.g. avoid baggy sleeves or bulky jackets as these will make it difficult to shoot. Wear appropriate footwear such as boots/stiff-soled trainers.​ No flip-flops, sandals, open-toed footwear or bare feet.

We have toilets nearby and refreshments are available to purchase at The Manor Bar.
