Tucked away in the scenic Hampshire countryside, the Leckford Estate is more than a tranquil sanctuary, it is a living piece of history. Purchased in 1929 by John Spedan Lewis, the visionary founder of the John Lewis Partnership, the sprawling estate served as his private rural retreat and a place to indulge his passion for the natural world.
Today, Leckford Hotels continues this legacy, offering guests a chance to recharge amidst the same historic grounds, heritage gardens, and quiet landscapes that inspired our founder.​

Leckford ABBAS

Leckford Lodges & Camping
Built for family getaways, our lodges and campsite make it easy to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. Let the kids loose in the large playground and sandpit, or hire bikes for a scenic ride into nearby Stockbridge. Longstock House
For significant celebrations and private gatherings, Longstock House offers a grand setting deeply rooted in the estate’s history. Also serving as a former residence for Spedan Lewis, the property is defined by its impressive architecture and beautifully manicured gardens. Offering complete privacy and historical elegance, it provides a distinguished and ideal venue for intimate events of up to 20 guests.
